Actually the morissons FREE wine carriers are alarmingly sturdy!

I just use them to transport to the shed keeping the whole cargo very CLOSE to the floor ;)

I got a bit of a taste and it tasted ok :) Will check in a few weeks ;)

Glad to hear after all your efforts that it isn't ruined :D

I'm going to continue to ferment mine in the dark just in case though (would break my heart to have to dump another batch).

Well i couldn't wait. It was a nice warm day (shockingly) so i stuck a bottle of my mini mash in the fridge to chill a bit.

I was amazed. The head was huge a world apart from my geordie kit and they have been bottled the same time. The taste was nice and malty with a nice light hoppy taste.

It tastes like beer which in itself i consider a success. It's very very light in body but i guess thats a result of 100% pale malt.

Can't wait to try next one :)
