Clarification on ABV % of a recipe ?

Post by DC » Wed Mar 20, 2013 7:45 pm

Hi all, I am looking to brew a robust Porter for my next beer and I have been using Beersmith 2 to formulate the recipe and I managed to get a 10L recipe with an ABV of 9.2% which is just what I was aiming for =D> but after uploading the recipe to Beersmith 2's iCloud I checked the recipe on the iCloud on my iPhone and it gives me an ABV of 13.36% for the same recipe for the same 10L batch :? can anyone shed any light on this? which is right the recipe on Beersmith 2 on laptop or the one on the iCloud on my iPhone :?:

I see that you don't have a yeast selected...it could be that the default yeast for the lite mobile version is different than the full version...this is just a guess..nevermind I see that your 0G is higher in the lite...I would go with the full version regardless
