Apologies well in advance...
Okay, so I swore to myself I wouldn't start a thread like this, but...
Look what Santa Norm brought me
Incidentally, the cylinder was postage-free, the corny had a postage charge.
Norm packaged the two together and gave me £5 refund on P&P. What a sterling bloke!!
PS. Wow, that photo makes it look like I've vacuumed my flat in the last month.
Who says the camera never lies?

They will. I found someone very near me after about 10 mins of looking on t'internet. £3 for a refill.Andy wrote:Don't think anyone will do it.Wez wrote:PPS You got anywhere lined up to charge the cylinder with C02?
EDIT - actually 2 places, but going with the cheapest the other wanted FIVE POUNDS

Guess what, I also succumbed to temptation this week and ordered 4 converted kegs from Norm!
I hope they are as shiny as yours is notassuch.
I mentioned that I'd been put on to him by JHBF members and I quote:

In my experience you may need to replace all the seals (and potentially poppets) and give the inside a very good clean - soda crystals + scrubby + wipe down with kitchen paper.Chiltern Brewer wrote:Guys am I likely to have to do much work with the kegs I get from Norm in your experience?
Unless Norm fits new seals these days ?
Dan!

I also bought my gas management board and CO2 bottle from him too although I had to go and pick up my bottle and I thought you could not post compressed gas (unless your one was empty?).
Good to know that I should be able to get my Norm bottle refilled - I must admit that had been of concern when reading about other peoples experiences....
