Hi Folks
Check out the info and videos on this webpage http://www.petainer.com/Large-Container ... amily.aspx
Do you think this could be adapted in to the home brewing world?
I would imagine that if the Petainers were really cheap there would be no point in cleaning and refilling them, just use it and dispose of the container, or is it possible it could be re used?
It looks like they use two types of sankey like barrel systems to fill and empty them. I don't think it would be a problem emptying them as you can get the sankey type fittings and co2 etc but not sure how you would put in your beer any suggestions?
could this be an alternative to corny systems?
This brewery is going to use them http://www.hand-pumped.co.uk/suppliers.htm
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Lindsay
Is this the future for dispensing?
Re: Is this the future for dispensing?
I'm not sure as a homebrewer you could get them cheap enough to be used as a one-use system.
The advantage of something like a corny is they should last forever and they have a large opening
on the top which makes them easy to clean.
Cleaning these would be more difficult I imagine.

If we could make them reuse then BRILLIANT.
Looks just like a big Coopers PET beer bottle. They can serve at 43 PSI so can be used for force carb
