Nope, most of my tools are wood originated, I wish I did have a metal lathe and milling machine, but using a simple hand held 9" angle grinder a hand held file and my robert sorby tool sharpner I can produce most things, again though wish I could weld.

Cheers

I have the same kegs on my home bar 2 of the 30ltr and a full sized keg that I put 2 traditional draughts in :D
they all fit nicely under the stairs. Cooling is not an issue as I have a maxi 310 for cooling and a python cooling
system for my hand pump I must remember to take a few pics to show how it all goes together.

Just seen a video for removing the spear here. Not sure if it is the same type of kegs.

Its the same spear alright but what a bodged way of getting the thing out.

Simply unscrew the spear, place a 5p in the middle connect the couple and pull out.

The bloke even used metal on metal with the thread [-X [-X not a good advert for the removal and suggest no one follow the technique. #-o

I suspect they are making something out of the keg and not replacing the spear :?:

I thought it looked a bodge job too, but gives an idea I guess of what it all looks like.

Well I`ve just gone out and "video`d" me taking a spear out (of my own keg bought and paid for with paperwork).

NOTE there is NO PRESSURE in the Keg.

Excuse the boots I was gardening this morning.

The vids on 53 seconds from start to finish..
