Is there any significance to the 1, 2 & 3?on the pipes

No the 1 2 3 is so I fit them back into the right holes. Each one has a small pipe that slots down through the lid. Makes it easy to rem9ve so I can then remove the whole lid for the cleanup after the boil.

Nice set-up, John-Luc. I like a bit of varnish. Is it okay with all the heat and steam, though?
