Big Ooops ......Or Not?

Hello Everyone,
My last Polish Rasberry Syrup TC to 15 Lts had OG 1054 approx 7.1%, just scaled a brew to 20Lts and the OG is 1066 approx 9%. WTF happened? Why has it come out so strong? The 7.1% was Bloody Lovely Mun, but I am dreading this new one! I will tell my guests that it`s only 4.6%!

My first batch of that stuff hit 8%, the wife had four bottles and chucked her guts up! I suggest you only allow one bottle per person. :)

Just run it "as is". Should still be fine.

I'd guess that you either scaled it wrong, or one of the other ingredients has different sugar levels.

No reason why it still shouldn't be OK........

Perhaps the first time the syrup wasn't mixed in properly so your OG wasn't accurate. It certainly settles out if i use it as a soft drink
