Foam Filler

Post by greenhouseuk » Sat Nov 30, 2013 7:44 pm

I have 2 of the German/ French thermo pots to which I am intent on installing bottom drains. I have already made a hole large enough to install my pipe work and removed the foam from one pot.
I have done a search for builders foam. What I have found is that most foams have a 50 deg limit on usage. I reckon my maximum operating temperatures are 75 degs....
Is this something that I should worry about?

fyi i used decorators cualk to fill the small void surrounding my pipe to the tap, it adds way more stability as the foam will just crumble if any pressure is put on it.
