That looks cool and very shiny :-) the glass shelf would scare the living daylights out of me though!

The glass shelf will be replaced with something more robust...just haven't got round to it yet.

Love the fancy collar containing the STC now that is neat, are there pictures of how you did it?

Looks like the "lid" of the fridge was removed (i seem to remember i can do this with my new frooker too) and a timber insert made.

Agreed, it looks an interesting solution and one i'd not considered.

I didn't take any pics, but will do when I have a minute. Basically I made a wooden collar, screwed it to the top of the fridge and then re-attached the "lid" to the frame using the same fittings as originally used.

I used a little box on top of the old fridge to fit the controller, but wanted a clear top for my laptop so decided on this approach. I haven't seen it done like this before and am very pleased with how it came out
