PLASTIC PUBKEGS

Post by lindsay » Wed Feb 19, 2014 4:23 pm

Hi

Has anybody seen this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAE2r_AeO8Q
also here http://www.homebrewstuff.com/5-gallon-p ... ubkeg.html
Do you think some of the homebrew shops in the UK will get this or something similar as an alternative to the now very expensive cornelius keg?

cheers

lindsay

You'd think someone would import but At $45 for a plastic keg I guess a Crusader keg would be better long term value.

Brewery Plastics do a variety of plastic kegs, no idea if they do single orders though

Those are similair to polykegs and ecokegs. I found 2 in the pub bin :) just unscrew the top and off you go.

Try "craft beer bars" where they have lots of different stuff on keg. Bound to get some in once and a while and they will be happy to get rid of them as they are bulky in the bin.
