Hey guys,

I just thought I'd drop in to let you know my new site and labour of love http://www.hopslist.com has launched.

The site is pretty simple, it's a list (duhh) detailing over 240 varieties of hops with descriptions and analytical data for each. Aimed at increasing brewer's awareness of the vast number of hops there are out there these days, hopefully you guys find it useful.

It's a free resource and definitely still a work-in progress.

Feedback is most welcome.

Looks really good, but the site is very slow to respond to page requests. At least 10-15 seconds for any page I try.

It pings fine so there must be something in the code causing it to take so long...

Haha, thanks guys. Still definitely a work in progress.

I've just added in a separate characteristics field and country of origin field to the table, will try and get these bits filled in as I go.

If you notice anything missing that you can help fill in let me know!

One "sort of" missing from your list is Prima Donna. I say "sort of" because it's the same as First Gold but it probably warrants an entry.
