Hi
As the title really. Does anyone have any thoughts whether a steam bottle sanitiser would be any good for preparing vials for yeast storage ?
Cheers
Baby bottle sanitiser for yeast slants. Any good

In theory it will work but they will only be sanitised. When culturing cells you really want to be sterilising things. A cheap pressure cooker is a good substitute for the autoclave that the professionals use.

Och
Thanks mate. I'd forgotten about the difference between sanitise and sterilise.
Your response is appreciated.

This is a useful article on steam sterilisation and worth a read.
