Connect Pub CO2 to Tyre Inflator

Carbonator Caps seem an expensive way to go considering I would need 6 caps, besides I already have the tyre valves

I'm keen to know how tight I should be tightening the tyre valves - can you over tighten them and compromise the rubber washer leading to leaks?
How long does the beer last once charged in the bottle, does the pressure drop over time/is this a matter of days - or does exposing the beer to oxygen when dispensing into the bottle prior to re-carbonating dictate the shelf life of the beer?

I use some pliers on the threaded part to hold them and tighten them right up. No leaks from my mini kegs

For bottles poured from keg-tap I'd say a few days in the fridge, for mini-kegs I'd say a fewweeks.

I have had 1 mini-keg add a bit of a 'metallic' taste to the brew after a month, but not sure whether that was the keg or the valve.
Having said that it was only me that noticed it and mates still loved the brew.

I normally fish Friday night through to Sunday morning, so if I prepare my bottles Wed night they should be fine - was trying to find out if I could do loads and have enough to take if I went for a week - sounds like that wouldnt be a good idea, I'll just have to buy at full cost from supermarker in that case which makes me angry

You'll probably be OK for a week, if your sanitation is good when you fill the bottles.
You will lose some carbonation so if your using this method its probably best if you slightly over-carb when kegging to take account of loss when you fill bottles.
The CO2 addition via the valve is just to try to reduce carbonation loss, there's not enough CO2 there to provide full carbonation at about 2 vols.

If you want to go the route of having sediment-free bottles you can have 'in stock' to take to parties and take away for long periods, then maybe you should be looking at a Blichmann Beer Gun or a counter-pressure filler of some sort.

The beer gun seed is planted in my brain though - its just how long it takes to germinate!! I may have a relation coming over from the US later in the year - maybe I could take advantage of the favourable exchange rate?
