The Malt Miller

Post by thebrewingman » Thu Jun 26, 2014 8:24 pm

I've just received my latest order from the Malt Miller. Much improved packaging which is very easy to carry (even 30kg), personalized grain packaging and DHL delivery who text you the day of delivery and, on the day, the the time of delivery to within an hour. All seems to work like clockwork.

I am most impressed.

Yes, DPD.

DHL don't send you a text or deliver your parcel.

Yep, DPD are really good. I was pleased when I found out Rob had switched to them.

Yes, good packaging and excellent delivery service. No need to wait in all day for the delivery - you can even check where the driver is on the DPD web site.

Good news - DPD are excellent. If a delivery is left with a neighbour, they even email you to tell you where and who (name of neighbour).

Most couriers are rubbish, so credit where credit is due - DPD have got it sorted.

I'm always happy when I get that reassuring DPD text.

Interlink use the exact same system.

Have to agree... a nice box of toys arrived yesterday (including a shiny new cornelius keg... that's me up to 3 now, they are breeding!). First class service and great prices - long may it continue!

Phoned Rob at about 11.30 Weds my 30 kilo order arrived on the Friday at 11 less than 48 hours to SW France. don't even get letters that quick and as a bonus the delivery charge has actually gone down, top service from Rob and DPD.

They are made to size, for instance I ordered 4kg of Munich and it comes in a single bag the size of the grain.

I was glad to see the delivery cost to Europe had come down for small parcels, used to start from £7.50 or so, now half a kilo about £4.5 or so. Very nice.
