Very nice photos. If I may ask a few questions : How much deadspace do you have with the boiler ? What is the capacity of the boiler ? Thanks.

1/How much deadspace do you have with the boiler

its about 8 litres from the bottm to the false lid

but i can us a mash bag if need to ?? wich will make it 0 litres

2/What is the capacity of the boiler ?

30 litres

i am very NEW to full mash brewing (have not done one oops)
so any help would be tops..

Flippin Mental has used this method, although the mash should be stired before run off as it sounds like the smaller particles in the grain can impead the flow through it otherwise.

very nice work mr c.

the run off is real good as long as you get the fine particles of the bottom of the tun. try not to over disturb the surface, believe aeration is not good practice at this stage of proceedings.
