I'm not sure they'd be up to the task, basing that solely on the fact that the first review says to not fill them them completely, because the added pressure causes the spigot to leak. That may be a manufacturing default in the one he had / solvable by tightening, but if its springing leaks under water pressure, that raises alarms for putting pressurised liquids like carbonated beer in for me.

Thanks Adam, thought other might be too good to be true! I guess even storing ale rather than larger would still be taking a chance though if there's a risk of it springing a leak.

I've took a punt and purchased some.
I don't plan on filling to 20ltrs, so should be ok :)
