Gas dispensing is go

Post by Dads_Ale » Fri Dec 12, 2014 4:18 pm

Finally got the gas dispensing system working after several gas leak set backs. First pint poured today and what a cracker. Amarillo pale.

The 12.5ltre PB was intended for my Hand Pump but couldn't resist connecting it to the Newquay Steam beer keg tap. This one was secondary fermented, next up is the cornies with forced carbonation. Brewing this weekend then.

I love them. The Newquay Steam Beer I have been fond of since it stopped production. I also have a Newquay Steam ships tiller keg font that I hope to put into service next year.
One thing that really annoyed me is I won mirror on eBay and the courier managed to smash it to pieces. Got the money back but that's not the point...........

The Stout one was a basket case. Managed to restore it to usable condition. LED bulbs are a godsend for this type of restoration.
