Coopers English bitter

Post by blackerdave » Sat Dec 20, 2014 3:37 pm

Just brewed my batch of coopers English bitter and my og reading was only 1040 which I thought was low.
Has anybody done this kit and if so is this reading normal? And what did it turn out like once drinking?

21 ltrs, though id brew it a bit shorter than the 23 ltrs which it said on the tin just to see if I could get a little bit more strength out of it and just use 1kg muntons beer enhancer

Mine started at 1042 with a kilo of better brew enhancer, brewed to 21 litres.

Bottled a couple as per norm then fill the corny, this was only 3 weeks ago, cracked open a bottle last week(been in the bottle 2 weeks)
and was very good.
Currently on my second pint and its a cracker.
