Sadlers' Reserve Pinot Grigio - have I ruined it?

Post by john_drummer » Sun Jan 25, 2015 10:02 pm

In November I put on a Sadlers Reserve 12 bottle kit of Pinot Grigio. Just run it through the filter ready for bottling later in the week, it's very dark & looks, smells and tastes like a Marsala fortified wine.

Have I ruined it? Oxidised? Or did I make it too strong and would diluting it a little help?

I once tried to do a batch with grape juice and it 'went over' and ended up tasting like a marsala, I used it to cook with in the end as it was more like sherry :?
