Here we have it! 2 weeks in the warm, put it outside in the cold, so I had to have a taster!
What a Beauty! Those Posh People will be quaking in their boots!
Can`t believe it! Good Hiss on opening, Good Head on pouring, Froth on glass right to the bottom!
Oh Yeah, Tasting Bloody Lovely Mun!

Great Beer and a new place to store it outside now that my two fridges are full!

Well done Mr Ales - that looks beautiful!

I bottled my ESB today. I had meant to do it last week, and the week before, but my wife's not been too well, so had to leave it a few weeks. Dry hop been in longer than I'd normally like, but it's lurvely and clear.
OMG this tasted BLM coming down the syphon. Hoppy, malty and I can taste the strength. Defo fermented out; not sweet at all. I didn't measure the OG and FG but I reckon this is north of 6%. Well, it does have 1kg each of BKE and DME.
Who's interested in bottle swapping, and how shall we orchestrate it? I will be in Bradford on 15th Feb for the football (we beat Chelsea in the FA Cup, you know) so if anyone's local I can drop some bottles up, but we're coming on the train and need to be at VP for 2:30, so will be pretty much constrained to the city centre. I'm happy to post out for reciprocal swaps...won't be ready to drink for about 4 weeks, mind.
I am looking fwd to this brew!

R u going to inlaws before? EB
Re: Kit Brewers Challenge....PLEASE READ THIS!
Probably not Gaz, but if that changes I'll let you know. We'll be in pubs in town from probably around midday or a little later.
We normally go to the public bar at the Midland Hotel before the game. They usually have only have the one real ale - Saltaire Blonde - but they have all the sport channels and a friendly crowd. Depends on what my mate who got us the tickets wants to do really

EB, Gaz,
Please keep your footie chit chat on your PM thingy!
This is a very serious Beer Brewing site and we can not be distracted from that!
What will the `Posh People` think?
So, I had a pint of this Brew just now, and guess what? Yep! It`s Bloody Lovely Mun!
Bottle swap? Of course! It`s like a pissing contest innit!

Footy chat indeed! This is a serious attempt to swap bottles here! Give me strength
I'd have happily done the same if a visit to Swansea was on the cards, but unfortunately Everton put paid to that idea
;);)
Unfortunately this is gonna be my last brew for a bit because we're getting some work done in the flat which has turned my brewery (spare room) into something of a builders yard, the flat's gonna be turned upside down and I don't want to ruin a brew with a load of tile dust and God know what else flying about. After 22nd feb, normal service shall resume!
Meanwhile, at least I'm pretty well stocked with my Best Bitter, Ditch-inspired stout, and Golden Ale.
Next brew's gonna be for my mate's wedding...where's the best place to buy a single (or small qty of) polypin(s) without being crucified for postage? They seem to be really cheap -about a fiver - but postage can be eight quid so makes buying just a couple really expensive
any tips?

Re: Kit Brewers Challenge....PLEASE READ THIS!
At the risk of another wrap on the knuckles from WA for going off topic, what are you asking for them?
Re: Kit Brewers Challenge....PLEASE READ THIS!

Re: Kit Brewers Challenge....PLEASE READ THIS!
Great. Let's sort something out when we do the ESB bottle swap (see how I skilfully brought us back on topic there)
