Ok I've started drinking this now, it's very hoppy quiet light, very drinkable a little bit like punk ipa, nice with a curry seems to be getting better every day

It's a good feeling seeing the bottles build up, ended up with 42 bottles

Im hooked no doubt, i always liked a drink, but only in last few month been getting into real beer, kit building up and theres 5 other extract kits in the cupboard and got a punk ipa grain kit from malt miller

I used ditches method and the stout has gone ballistic, wonder how the other kits would fair using the electric drill to oxygen them up

That Simply Pale Ale is my absolute favourite kit!

Always do it with a 1kg bag of DME now. Usually do it to 21 ltrs to improve the body.

Dry hopping it is half the fun. You can chuck practically any US or New World hops in and comes out a treat.

Don't overdo the dry hop though. I think the kit LME is quite well hopped. 50 gms would be my absolute limit - and I love hoppy ales!

Already have Coopers stout as ditches recipe looks loverly, think ditch was ok that i used a dewalt battery drill to mix it, dont think it will effect the outcome

Was drinking this the other night, really turned out nice, one of best beers I have tasted

I thought i had over done the hops to start with, im not sure if ive got used to it or its dying down slightly but tastes great maintains a head till the end

It has been changing as i have drunk it, i t was a little worried at one stage there was quiet a grassy taste recently but this seems to have vanashed as fast as it turned up

Only got a few bottles of this left now :-(

But got lots of my ditches stout and a coopers real ale conditioning in the bottles

Ive got a couple of the simply lager kits, need to get them going as nothing in the FV at the moment

Step up just a little and go for a steamer type beer.... Make sur you use northern brewer hops. Some temp control is necessary but not so much faff as lagering
Just like trying new ideas!
