Perhaps if we all chipped a quid in to thank Jim for this great forum we could buy him one.

SWMBO is so far unimpressed with my case for buying one.

Should read "break even pint"

Great looking recipe, mates. Which yeast(s) did you use?

I used Nottingham (well, gervin, which is the same thing). I think Norm used the same.

I think I've just about broken even. I do make quite a lot of ber these days, but i play in a band and my mates are quite fond of my ale and lager.
Since getting the BM in March Im at 22 brews myself plus 1 with Jim and quite a few split with Wobblylgs and anther few with Lee.
And I've taken it into Blackhills Brewery to do experimental brews with the head brewer, One was a wheat beer which was available at the recent Durham beer festival.
I cant praise the BM 20 enough. Its superbly built and works faultlessly.
I have built my own Hopper (Ikea). And I have recently built a simple sparger tray, which is really easy and quick to use.

Jim, We'll have to get another splitter brew on mate.
