How to condition without the sediment?

Sorry but there is no way to accomplish this without sediment. When conditioning or carbonating in bottles or other containers you are creating a small additional fermentation. This creates yeast and other fermentation flocculant. Chilling, fining and time will let thes products settle into a firmer, more compact layer but it is still going to exist. Using dextrose rather than malt extract may yield a little less. Going to Cornie kegs combined with a secondary ferment and force carbonation is probably the simplest way to obtain virtually sediment free homebrew. Unfortunately this does not solve your problem of not wanting to drag a keg across the Channel but along with this method you can then fill bottles from your Cornie keg and enjoy clear beer.
