Could work - but do you mash them or add into the boil ?

This is from a thread about it on HBT

They do a lot of tasty ones, a recent favorite is the Jet Black Heart if you can get it on a Nitro Tap. Handy living 20mins from the brewery!

I was in the Brewdog bar in manchester the day after they launched "Jet Black Heart" - was really taken with it.
So, yesterday, when the recipes were released I was thrilled to take a look at that one.
Have entered it (and tweaked and polished) into both Brewmate and Beersmith - and can't get the numbers to quite compute (IBU and EBC) to what they state in their PDF. So, nevermind... it'll give me a launchpoint and today I'm brewing a beer that I otherwise wouldn't be doing. So full marks to Brewdog.
It does strike me though that there is a desperate need for a DIYDOG Wiki/forum where brewers can enter errata, supply the numbers they've actually found when they brewed one of the recipes and share their experiences. All the headliners will get a lot of focus (Punk, Dead pony, Jackhammer, Hardcore, 5am saint) no doubt so wrinkles will get ironed out and it'd be great if that feedback got into subsequent iterations of the DIYDOG manual.
Off now to spark up the burner on my strike water and measure my grains.

I thought exactly the same thing. If there is enough interest we should do this.

Never been a big fan of the brewdog brand, even though they make excellent beers. But this is unbelievable.... Brilliant.
Just amazing. My new favourite brewery.
Thanks for posting.

Very good move in think on their part.
If.I compare to my software world what they have done is "open source" their recipes.
If this plays like I think it will they get:
- marketing- we are talking about it now.
- marketing whenever someone brews a direct clone and let's friends try it
- more marketing whenever someone tweaks one of the recipes and refers to their base beer
- intelligence - which recipes will be most popular? How do they get tweaked? What water, yeast or other tweaks do to the beers?
If I was them I would take it even further and either sponsor or run a brewing competition for the clones and tweaked versions... Then perhaps do a limited run of the winners beer each year.
- mind share - all the time we talk about this takes attention away from other breweries.
I fail to see any downside to what they have done

I am the only person here that has NEVER had a pint/sample of ANY Brew Dog brew?
From reading some of the recipes ... 41% that is NOT a beer or even a Barley Wine that is just silly, doesn't make me want to brew any of them.

haha their "normal" beers are mostly pretty damn good. You should pick a couple up and try. I handily live 20mins from the Brewery so can stop in past the TapRoom and also there are two brewdog bars in my city.

If it wasnt for Brewdog beers I would never have got into home brewing or had a clue about "craft" beer. I was on honeymoon touring my native Scotland in 2008 and tried them when I was up near Aberdeen. After that I started looking for good beer as I like to call it and have never looked back
For some reason the only Brewdog beer that has really stuck in my head and the one I wish was a year round serving is the Hunter Foundation Pale Ale so I cant wait to brew this up.

Very happy with this release. Its just prompted me to place an order for a gainfather so can start to work through some of the more obscure ones. Delivery on Tuesday so now to Malt Miller for ingredients.

Corny Keg 1 - Silver still spirits tonic water
