Where to get a male BSP reducing Tee
I'm looking for a tee in brass or possibly stainless, where the centre is a male 3/4" BSP thread and either side are male 1/2" BSP (or 15mm compression). I thought these would be common but I can't find any (and don't really want to use adaptors). Perhaps I'm looking for the wrong thing.
Does anyone know where one could be found?
Thanks

I get all my plumbing bits from these people. Their on-line catalogue is really good

Is this what you are after (clearly on the drop down select 1/2" to 3/4")? Clicky
Edit, I should learn to read. OP says male, not female

Yeah that sort of thing... though not that sort of price!
I was thinking several pounds at most, for a standard plumbing type of fitting.
I can't believe that 3/4 to 1/2" tees are so rare, but so far it seems its not just me being blind; I may have to make something at this rate.

They are pricey
Would a female T with some barrel nipples work?
Or
Isn't 22mm compression fitting a 3/4bsp thread?

Re: Where to get a male BSP reducing Tee
Indeed they are! I'm sure worth every penny in the right application, but I'm just looking for a low pressure yet compact tee for my brew kettle. I naively thought it would be simple!
Annoyingly, the extra length would be inconvenient for gender changing or stepping down, and the reduced bore wouldn't be ideal for changing up. I could perhaps get away with an equal 3/4" male tee as a fall-back but its not ideal. I could probably make something if necessary.
(whilst 15mm compression nuts use 1/2" bsp threads, sadly 22mm compression nuts don''t use 3/4" BSP)

Re: Where to get a male BSP reducing Tee
might be worth emailing a few of the far east SS and sanitary fittings ebay sellers?
failing that 1/2" barrel nipple, a 3/4" weld nipple, your angle grinder and JBweld should enable you to knock one up alright

15mm brass compression tee plus a 3/4 X 1/2 inch bush? You could solder the bush for a sanitary joint?
A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

Re: Where to get a male BSP reducing Tee
Thanks both. Having spent some time visiting local plumbing merchants it seems that both male 1/2" - 3/4 "- 1/2" and 15mm - 3/4" - 15mm reducing tees are a source of amusement and not (as I'd naively imagined) an available part. So Yes, I shall be making one up :-/
The extra height, width and/or reduced bore of doing it with standard bushes etc isn't ideal, but I found a 15mm - 22mm - 15mm that I'll fix a 3/4" nipple to at the 22mm outlet. The 3/4" nipple can just about be ground out to fit over some 22mm pipe so that would work fine, although the 22mm thread will also be cut down and it all soldered together to keep it lower profile.
Thanks again
