A scrub with my "bog brush" (never been near a bog I swear!, use it for yeast crud on the FV's) and it cleaned up nicely.

I've got one of these and it's turned up with barely a dent in it. The top frame was slightly flattened but it was easily reshaped. Exactly the same packaging as on Orlando's photo so it seems I've been lucky.

It's a great bit of kit for the money.

I've still not had time to use mine , any idea of how many leaf hops you can use in these without it affecting it's function ?

Wouldn't want to go over 200g, but that is a LOAD of hops.

2 would be better for that many hops, you could fit 250g of pellets in easily but not whole hops.
For the price it is a bargain. The ones I was looking at last year where that price BEFORE p&p which was MORE than the cost of the unit. (~£40 delivered)

Well mine had arrived thoroughly sat on in transit - they definitely need to lack something inside these to give them rigidity and the way over!

Complain and get £3 back. I did and the more of us that do the more likely they will decide that proper packaging is cheaper.

Mine just turned up. It's taken 2 weeks exactly to come from Hong Kong. Main problem is it looks like its been trampled on by a herd of cattle. One crease is so bad that it's left a small hole. I don't think the hole is big enough to cause any problem. They definitely need to do more with the packaging though.

Make sure you complain and send the picture, they will eventually get the message.

Well they offered me full refund on my squashed one: I asked them for a tenner instead and gave a spiel about improving the packaging..
Anyway - I used it in anger for the first time last night and it worked great , enough room for pellets to circulate and far clearer wort.

I Have had a reply this morning. Just hope I can find the bag in the bin for the SKU code!

Dear ,
We are so sorry to hear it. We really want to solve it for you. Would you kindly take some product pictures and a SKU code (the code on a small white sticker affixed to the item packaging, such as SKU337120) picture show us the details with your eBay message for a record? There is a button for you to attach pictures. Don't worry. We will figure out a solution for you after we check it.
Waiting for your reply.
Best regards
