I made a batch of Cannonball that had 530g in it. It was excellent but I probably could have bought a keg from the brewery for the cost of it!thepatchworkdoll wrote:Hi there

Brewing this rather hoppy monster tomorrow. Going to use my recently acquired hop rocket too. See what that has to offer.

So I've brewed.

Hop rocket loaded

Pan loaded!!

Into the rocket into the chiller and to the FV

Now await the yeast to work its magic.

How was it ?
Re: "Juicy" IPA/pale ale
Hop rocket is the key for juicy hoppy lowish IBU beers, love mine now.
Re: "Juicy" IPA/pale ale
flamout hops dont add ibus so how do they get to 35ibu with a "token amount" of magnum ?
Re:
Thats alot of hops at 30 mins, must be pretty bitter !Bunglebrewsbeer wrote:

This brew turned out lovely!! Really hoppy and proper good whack in the face from it early on. Got a few bottles left. Still lovely but aroma less now. To be expected.

By steep 30min. It meant at flame out that lot went in and sat for 30 min. Not 30 min into the boil.
