Now I'm more gutted I can't go, I stupidly thought Cullercoats brewery was in Cullercoats, it's actually only about a 10 min walk from my house!

Yes, I'd love to go, but unfortunately am unable to be there unless a few happenings change.
I think his beers are amongst the best from similar breweries in the present day.

Re: Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
I'm hoping to hold another event here soon, but was expecting to have a pin of ale of something different delivered here Friday, in need of conditioning and consuming, but have heard nothing. I'm still hopeful and will let you know shortly, one way or the other.woblylegs wrote:sorry i cannot make it. have a nice afternoon to them thats going.

Well I'm here!
Re: Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
Had an enjoyable afternoon chatting with Norm, and we also had interesting conversations with Anna and Sean from Cullercoats about hops in particular, and brewing in general.
Sean gave us a crafty taste of their latest brew - not yet available in - straight from the fermenter. It was a German-style Wheat Beer and from what we tasted, it's going to be a good one. All with UK hops as well.
