New Grainfather - control box fitting
I have just bought a new Grainfather, fitting the new connect controller box it is not exactly a snug fit, it will not move when operated but I fear it may become dislodged when upending the unit during cleaning, it can be moved around on its lugs, anyone else found this?

Yes mines the same. I think the idea is its easy to remove. If your upending the grainfather just have one hand near the top and sort of put your thumb over the controler. Thats what i do

Ah great, thanks, I haven't even plugged it in yet
information overload ATM trying to work out recipes, all the talk of grain absorption being wrong in the online recipe builder etc. It looks like it could just do with a little wedge behind the control box above the lug to firm it up a bit. Too much time on my hands waiting for a few bits to arrive before the first brewday with it

well when i say before cleaning. DOH!!. Using the pump to recirculate both cleaning solution and its rinses will require the controller.
just pull it prior to the upturn to drain and fully dry before stashing
enjoy the g/f..

Thanks, I did an AG brew day course last weekend, and it seemed quite straight forward so looking forward to it.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your email.
The we have given it a slightly looser fit because we found the old one was too tight and people had trouble removing it. It is normal for it to be loose but we would definitely suggest removing it when you clean the unit.
Kind regards
Kim

Yep I do and it takes seconds to ask, especially with the price of the kit.
