i don't care so much that i didn't hit it, i care more that i don't understand why. It was the bottom of the Maris Otter bag maybe that has something to do with it or maybe i measured it wrong? i measure in half kg and put it into a bag and i remember wondering today if i was on 2 or 2.5 kgs so maybe i was a half kg short. Maybe it was the sugar i used dark candy sugar? oh i'm confused now :?

AT mate, maybe it's the malt, obviously not you or your set up. You'll be reet!

After all it turned out to be a class beer, i'm drinking a pint right now. There's a few of my mates who usually turn their nose up at the homebrew and i forced a few of them to taste this one and it changed some opinions and in fact they all wanted more. The whirfloc did a great job clearing and it tastes lovely and soft to drink with the perfect balance of hops for my taste, i really feel i made a huge step forward this time to brewing the type of beer that i like :D :D :D :D

I'd say i'll def brew it again in the future, it's gonna be a sad day when i finish the keg which at the moment doesn't look like it will be to far away
