How long do bottles stay clean?

Post by Manngold » Wed Jan 24, 2018 9:31 pm

Cleaned all my bottles Monday, can’t bottle until tomorrow, they are stored in a plastic box under the table with a tea towel over the tops.

Will they be ok?

Thanks

I would give them another clean and sanitise just before bottling.

Personally i would not clean then sanitise then leave them for a few days before bottling.

Thanks. To clarify they were cleaned and not sterilised on Monday. Not sure if it changes things?

I would normally use those reusable plastic caps once cleaned, and then a rinse, and sterilise just before bottling.
once cleaned and capped they can be stored for ages - so clean as many as you have, then keep any you don't fill, ready for next time.

Thanks all. In the end I was lazy, and just went for it...
