25KG for 20 quid.
I have a bag on route and a mill coming for my b day.
Anybody else tried it? 10 pounds a bag saving over the regular Crisps etc.

PS, I cannot figure out how to get the pound symbol on a mac keyboard

I bought a 25kg bag of the hook head series and it makes a cracking stout.

Good to hear, looks like it’s a bargain then.
Hope my mill turns up from across the pond soon.

Not used it yet as the mill I’m trying to buy has been some what difficult
It should be in its way in a few days so will report back as soon as it arrives.

I had a lot of problems with crushed malt from them.
Kept getting a stuck mash in my Grainfather. Never an issue with Malt Miller or Worcester Hop Shop malt.
Although if your milling yourself, you should be able to avoid that.

Me too actually but I wasn't 100% certain as my GF has been through the ringer a bit

I was looking at that malt for BIAB, so a stuck mash shouldn't be a problem.

It's still a bargain and I've made many great brews out of it.

If all goes ok it will be my goto base malt as it’s just so much cheaper that a sack from the malt miller. It will make some super cheap SMASH’s when certain hops are on offer too.

I've been using it my last couple of brews, it's decent malt. Good efficiency from it, and seems to taste good (better than MO to my taste buds anyway....). I eBIAB though, and have a pretty fine pored bag, so wouldn't notice the crush much.
