I have a chest freezer in the garage that I want to use for carbonating/conditioning. Want a tidy way of feeding gas in but can’t find any kind of bulkhead fitting that will pass through the 50mm top
Re: Tap shank/tap thread size
My advice would be to put a wooden collar between the top of the freezer and the lid.
You can then drill holes to your heart’s content in the collar possibly putting a few taps in to make a keezer.
For conditioning and serving beer, one of the best things I ever did concerning brewing!

I have a kegerator in the house. I only need one gas line in as it won’t be for serving from.

Simply drill a 10mm hole, maybe a fraction less, or use a little epoxy to fix and seal some John Guest 3/8 tube, just at the right length to fit 3/8 JG elbows either side. Hook up the CO2 line, etc. Job done.
