There is a post from seymour a few years back somewhere about germinating seeds. I’m sure sanding them came in somewhere. I will se if I can find it

Re: Growing hops from seed
Thanks for the replies. Since I made the original post, I took the advice of other JBK members and planted the seeds. They had been in the fridge for around 6-8 weeks in the end. There are no signs of growth yet, but I'm hoping that the warmer weather will help to speed up the germination a bit.
In the meantime I also bought a Challenger rhizome, which I've planted out. Hopefully that way I'll at least get some hops to harvest in a few months time!

Re: Growing hops from seed
I was bought 50 seeds as a present from my darling wife and followed the steps to germinate and out of the 50 a total of 10 came up from those ten 3 survived but I dont yet know if they are male or female, at least I have 2 northern brewer female plants to fall back on no matter what.
My wife wanted me to get a hobby now I make beer. She says I'm always in my shed I KEEP TELLING HER IT WAS HER IDEA.
