Re: new move
i think a 30l electric tea boiler may do as it has taps, ?
Re: new move
Just remember that generally when a capacity is quoted, it is to the top of the vessel. Practically it will probably be a few litres less than 30.
Not sure on what size batches you intend to brew, but consider evaporation and fluid loss due to hop absorption also.
Hope all goes well!
Re: new move
My latest MM order is due to be delivered in the next few minutes. 25Kg Golden Promise in 5 bags and some extra grains all fine crushed for increased efficiency in my BIAB plus some hop pellets to add to the inventory. Better get a brew on.
I brew therefore I ... I .... forget

Re: new move
Hi all,
I am using up my LME which believe it or produces very drinkable Ales, as of March 2023. I am moving on to BIAB using all grain recipes from Graham, Greg's books and a few hop combinations of my own.
Any advice would be much appreciated I do have 2 fridges one for fermenting the other maturing. I picked up a beer engine and plane to get it all set up for the new year.
Happy brewing

Re: new move
So how are you getting on with AG? Has the change from LME been noticeable and worthwhile?

Re: new move
If you’ve been brewing with DME or LME, boiling and adding you own hops then jumping to all grain really isn’t very difficult and worth it for the added maltiness.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.
