A friend of mine tried my TLC twist recently and although he enjoyed it he said that for him it could be less bitter and have more styrian to it, i've come up with this one, what do you think?
5000gm Pale Malt (MO) Grain 98.0 %
100gm Crystal Malt Grain 2.0 %
26gm Fuggles [4.90%] (90 min) Hops 12.6 IBU
35gm Styrian Goldings [3.00%] (90 min) Hops 10.4 IBU
30gm Styrian Goldings [3.00%] (15 min) Hops 4.6 IBU
50gm Styrian Goldings [3.00%] (0 min)
Working at 75% efficiency i'd get OG of 1046 (4.4%abv) EBU of 27.5 the one he tried was 37
Feedback very very welcome, this one will be the 1st recipe i've formulated on my own.

I wear my steelies all the time when I'm out and about in the garden I dare say if you meet me you'll be brewing "minced toes styrian!"

Should accomplish what you are after - keeping the aroma, some flavor and less bitter.
