I can’t get the lid off my bucket!
Am I such a wimp? Is there a knack to getting lids off?
It's a new bucket, the ones with the red lid that Malt Miller sells.

Lightly sandpaper the gripper on outside edge of the bucket. A nail file works well (once you are in).

I reach across the lid and pull it up at the indent with as many fingers as I can fit, at the same time pushing down on the lid with my thumbs to bend the lid sharply back.

I slide a screwdriver in sideways that is at a tangent to the rim and lever it up. Once it's started it's easy enough.I
If your worried sanitize the screwdriver
