Gotcha. For some reason it was murkier than the Ernest brew at the same stage so I cold-crashed it. I think with S04 the yeast/murk packs down on the bottom of the bottle quite a bit? Liberty Bell is fairly flocculant in general in my experience, but requires very careful pouring if gunk gets in the bottle. I did vow to stop cold crashing but it was a bit too murky for my liking on this occasion.

How long do Hukins Hops normally take to deliver? I still have not got my Ernest.. Are they growing them 😁😁😁

Is that really 5kg of hops? Looks like far less, but then I use whole hops which are much bulkier.

Presumably the can is to denote scale rather than suggest it was sent with the hops.

That looks more like a 500g - or even 250g - bag of pellet hops 🧐
Fermenting: Cherry lambic
Conditioning: English IPA/Bretted English IPA, Munich Helles, straight lambic
Drinking: Munich Dunkel, Helles Bock, Orval clone, Impy stout, Porter 2, Hazelweiss 2024, historic London Porter
Planning: Kozel dark (ish),and more!

On the bag it says 5kg net… Maybe the weight of the fresh hop before being processed into pellets? 🤔

Beans for scale only.
One x 250gm* pouch.
Only thing in the box... Not even packing.
And took 11 days

*my lab scales made it 249g inc the bag.
