Looking at all these tasty copper manifolds, mine is seeming slightly er limp.
I've only done 4 batches so I don't really know how to assess it (beer tastes good though). Is this going to be less efficient than a copper construction that covers more area?
Cheers,
Matt

Thanks DAAB.
I must make the next batch with an efficiency calc in mind.
Is efficiency constant, regardless of batch size?
Or am I prying open a can of worms not for this thread

QUOTE (Daft as a Brush @ Aug 8 2006, 04:03 PM) It may have paid you to order a boiler tap from the Hop Shop at the same time. They cost around £6.99
The people at Hop Shop are really friendly. If you give them a call they will likely add a tap to your order for you (they normally take a day or 2 before shipping out). That way you can save on P&P.
If you order seperately I think they only charge £1 for P7P being that it is so light.

Thanks PoP, DaaB,
I've added 2 boiler taps onto my order from the Hop Shop.
DaaB, do you use 1 or 2 of the elements in each boiler?

Hi - Making up some kit, Cool Box with copper strainer and immersion chiller and just want to check before buying.
Looking for a Cool Box what sort of volume/size box would be the ideal?
Immersion cooler 10m x 10mm coiled micro bore copper tube will this length and dia give good results.
Cheers

DaaB - might do something over Bank Holiday w/e, fancy a wheat beer but we'll see!
I've got a 22-> 15 reducer T so will see what works best. I was thinking of using my 5/8" reinforced PVC hose to link the manifold to tap and that is a real snug fit within the 22mm T piece so would be ideal.
