i think its 4.15Kg if my memory serves me correctly. if you're not sure how much is left, then its been too long since you last brew anyway!

Cheers, that sounds about right!!
I have a batch in the secondary, but I wanted to know how much beer I need to drink before I can put it in my corny. I cant be bothered with the hassle of bottling another batch!! :P

If 1l of water= 1kg, does that mean that beer OG 1.013 will weigh 1.013 Kg??
I reckon I've got about 1.85Kg of beer left, which I reckon is about erm, just over 3 pints.
Minus however much that will be left behind = not very much beer at all!!
:beer

I like the way you mention with total accuracy the weight of a litre of your beer then spoil it all by going 'just over 3 pints'. The correction for the SG was a bit unnecessary don't you think? :D

Anyway you forgot about the 1/2 pint of sludge at the bottom of the keg just before it finally runs out...

Never mind the maths, just have a session, get the beer drunk and get another one on!

:beer :P

:beer
hehe, well it turned out there were just 4 pints left plus half a pint of sludge.
I have now filled & primed the corny with my latest batch.

And guess what!! I forgot to weigh it whilst it was empty!!
:bonk

There's so many different cornies out there it's not surprising they weigh slightly differently. I have 4 :( empties at the moment weighing 4.4kg, 3.8kg, 4.2kg and 3.9kg.
Vossy1's 2.9kg is obviously a lightweight
