DRB, or anyone else for that matter, you will find that you have a great bargaining tool if you need anything doing and you know someone handy, I am of course referring to your home brew!
I am the first to admit that my diy skills could be better, I find the offer of some of my finest usually does the trick if you need something doing!

Please can someone tell me how far up I should drill the hole for my bucket in a bucket mash tun for the tap, do i just sit the bucket inside the other bucket and mark the final resting point and drill there or is there a specific measurement, also how far up for the tap for a boiler and element thanks.
DAAB Ijust marked up the bin for the hole as you said and it will be 10mm from the bottom of the bucket to the bottom of the hole this will mean the inner bucket dosen`t sit on the tap inside is 10mm from bottom of bucket to bottom of hole to little and should i make it bigger and rest the inner bucket on the tap or is this a big no.
