Never, in all my 2 months, did I think the forum would be stumped for an answer
Perhaps you chose the wrong day to ask DRB, it's Saturday and that means brew testing day to the masses :stun :beer

I couldn't agree more on that! Funnily enough, there was a program on C5 the other day with Selina Scott saying TV was utter crap.

I recently watched the 5 part series "Charlie Brooker's Big Screen Wipe" and thought it was great. His cutting analysis of the crap on television and his dry sense of humour really appealed to me

I find the best solution to what's on television is to not have a television. You wouldn't believe the grief the tv licensing people give me though, they don't seem to believe me.

Often wanted to just dump the TV and try this out but never quite done it yet. Currently have managed to reduce the TV to a small portable only to try and encourage less TV watching.

Do you still have to buy a TV license if you only listen to the radio?

as long as the monitor/pc has no reciever in it, and they would probably make you prove it, you would probably get away with it.
