Very nice pic’s

How long does it that to cool and transfer the wort to the primary with your chillier?

These are going to be very simple questions DaaB so please bear with me
1) What's the little shiny unit on the worktop- some kind of pump?

2) If so, why is it hooked up to a water supply when you are transferring the wort from boiler to KK (as fermenter?)

3) What do you mean by "...recirculated the wort"? or, rather, how, when and why?

There's no brewers/brewshops near me so I can't pester them for this type of info.

It's a wort chiller (actually heat exchanger from a central heating boiler), in the picture it first appears in i'm sanitiseing it by running boiling water through it.
I've got a mate who's a plumbing and heating engineer - I reckon he could fit me up with one of those nice and cheap.

Do you useit to take the temperature right down or just down to the 80 degree level (yes, I remember reading that was the optimum temp for late hops). I'm just wondering why you refer later to immersion/flash chillers.

I missed that question. The immersion chiller I refer to later is the copper pipe coming out of the fermenter/keg, I use it to keep the fermenting beer cool by recirculating cold water through it via a pub flash chiller.
Thanks for this and the other responses.
