I have just done my 1st kit at an OG of 1051!! I must get it down to 1010. so watch this space.

Yepp 1075 - 1080 usually that's why i need to get it down to 1010 to make it pallitable. :?

I think I'll leave it like that and bottle it and use it in case of emegergencies.
Brown bottle and a tea spoon of DME or sugar in each bottle.

Started on Saturday 29/09/2007 1051. Now Monday 01/10/2007 gravity reading at 1020.

4.1%abv not too bad a little lower to maybe 1010 by day 10. Prime the barrel with some decent cane sugar and will be quite nice for a pre breakfast beer.
