Hops on the boil

Imersion chiller in cooling the wort, took 40 mins to cool 10 gal.

Pumping wort into fermenter which is kept in a converted fosters fridge, shiny!
Image

A new gadget for me to try out, I've made a hop strainer out of a spear from a beer barrel (stainless steel) so I can dry hop with loose hops in the fermenter.

Here it is fitted, just pushes onto the back of the drum tap.
'and its shiny'

Nice setup there Tangoman. Looks like everything went swimmingly.

What recipe did you use btw?

and just out of interest, should really make it a poll but how long was the brew day? (trying to cut mine down to 6 hours but failling  )
