To get the wort nice and aerated I transfer to another FV 30lt capacity:

Trub after the IC took care of business - under 7 mins again:

I ended up with 23lt @ 1042 which was way off my 1060 target which from what I can work out gives me a 68% efficiency (I’m not sure what the extract for 1kg in 1lt is for chocolate malt and torrified wheat so I just used 300).
I think what lowered my efficiency was not sparging properly. I decided to try fly sparging and I think I should have stuck to batch for a few more attempts just to get the technique correct. I’ve also leant that Doughing in is a two man job.
