9 hrs so far!

But I had a power cut to deal with right at the end.........NO!!

Running the wort off into the fermenting bin but the hop strainer is getting blocked and I've only got 15lts in the bin. I had 22lts after the boil,

Thinking about leaving it to settle overnight then syphoning off the good stuff in the morning?

Crikey you were unlucky. We didn't have a power cut and I guess we're only about 500 yards down the road if that.

You lose about 3L to the trub and hops. Its just another thing you go into AG#2 being aware of. I bottled 29 pint bottles from AG#1 and 41 bottles from AG#2; both intended to be 25L brew lengths!
