Perhaps before we finalise the grain bill we should narrow the hops down by discussing what we already have or if you are buying in, what hops we are happy to use.

I have the following, (and prefer no more that 2-3 different hops in a beer)

Amarillo
Bramiling X
Cascade
Challenger
First Gold
Fuggles
Goldings
Progress
Styrian Goldings
Target
Fair enough about about the gravity i was trying to bring in the number eight theme but thats probably an unnecessary complication TBH.

Well i have all the same hops as yourself DaaB with the exception of Bramling X.
I also have amarillio but i guess a lot of people wouldn't and that they might struggle to get some in.

As its the weekend 8-10 why not make the gravity 1048-1050. I have 5 of the hops on DaaBs list.

I`ve only got a split batch of white labs wlp013 london available, think we will need a degree of flexability. I never use dried yeast and I`m sure some members never use liquid.
