What is the best kit? I know this is quite a wide question but I'm just wondering what kit people use?
My take on things is that people seem to be most pleased with any of the one can kits made with spraymalt (not sugar) for the extra fermentables.
Less problems with sticking ferments and less expensive than the 'premium' two can kits.
Im sure some of the more experienced kit brewers will be able to tell you of specific kits that make great beer though.

Currently drinking Woodfordes Great Eastern and Fixby Gold. I prefer the Great Eastern, one of the best tasting kits I've done. Woodfordes Admirals Reserve was also excellent. Milestone IPA was another good one. All pretty light in colour and easy to drink. The Woodfordes all took a fair bit of work to get the gravity down though.
Just tried my 1st pint of Fixbys Gold and it is superb. Not the cheapest kit but worth every penny.
Recently experimented a bit and made up a Wilkos cheap Tom Caxton Real Ale, mixed with 1KG x BKE and also added 500g medium spraymalt. Great results - a excellent full bodied pint that is one of the best to date.
Cheers!

I wouldn't worry about that Prozac. we all have different tastes and can only call upon the experience that we have, but all that experience is unique. However, I'm only on my 4th brew so my opinion is hardly qualified. Embarassed
Personally, after 12 kits I can say that the best results came from the Coopers IPA. followed closely by a chreap can of Harvest Bitter a mate gave me, with 2Kg of dark spraymaly added. Its some out a beauty. If I wasn't making the step up to AG i would definately follows stevezx7r [top bike btw
