Cheapest kit Ive done recently is Difinitive bitter from Youngs .I bottled on 2nd Jan and its just about cleared but still has slight haze. The kit was £6.99 from Wilko in Droylsden but bke was £4.99 so pushed price right up.I used the yeast that came with kit and it left a very fine sediment that disturbed with the slightest movement.Primed as usual with one tbl spoon table sugar 2lt bottle.First bottle opened very lively ,bubbles shot up from bottom and made the beer cloudy

Tried to syphon beer out into jug and it was more froth than beer and wouldn't syphon

I ended up with 0ne inch beer six of head.Tried different approach next.Opened bottle to let co2 out then put top back on and left it for a few hours to settle.Much better to syphon with great frothy head

Tastes ok but not great.Thats why I do coopers kits ,no pissing about just great beer with no fuss .Coopers kits are £9.50 from Innhouse brewery so for another £2.50 why bother.
